Congratulations to the Lake View High Class of 2021 Graduates

Caps off to the Lake View High School Class of 2021! The LVHS  Graduation Ceremony to celebrate 195 graduating students was held Saturday morning, May 29, 2021 at Lake View Stadium.

“Together, we have raised the next generation of learners, leaders, and public servants. Through the magnificent efforts of our students, staff, campus leaders, and the families of our graduates, our students are ready to build the future,” said Dr. Carl Dethloff, Superintendent of San Angelo ISD. “I want to express my gratitude for what I’ve seen the last few months; incredible students that are built to pivot, lift each other up, and serve their community.”

LVHS Principal Zach Ramirez addressed and presented the Class.

“Pride does not begin to describe how I feel today for the graduating class of 2021. It took a lot to get here. The last two years have certainly been mountains to overcome. Shaking their hands and seeing these graduates' smiles while they received their diplomas, it is beyond any doubt that they know we are celebrating something special. I am confident that the lessons learned over the course of the last two years are the bedrock for these young women and men. I can't wait to see what the Class of 2021 will accomplish in our community and beyond,” said Principal Ramirez.

The Acceptance of the Class was by SAISD Board Trustee Mr. Bill Dendle.

“Congratulations to you, the Class of 2021. No other class in history has had to endure and innovate like you did to reach this point in their education. The last year and a half of school has been unprecedented,”  said Mr. Dendle. “I can only describe your accomplishment in reaching this point in your educational career we call graduation with one word- huge. What a great honor to be able to accept the Class of 2021 from Lake View High School.:

LVHS student speakers included Francisco Ocampo, Salutatorian Logan Ray Molina, Valedictorian Daisy Jane Herr, and Senior Class President Brandon Herrera. LVHS JROTC conducted the Posting of the Colors, and the Chieftain Band played the processional, LVHS School Song and recessional.
